What you can expect

As a Customer Planner (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the strategic supply chain planning and coordination of a defined sales channel. In close cooperation with Sales and the international supply chain organisation, you engage the demand plan into concrete customer plans. You are the voice of the customer to anticipate the right product availability, and you are the key supply chain contact to the sales to make the best usage of our available products. Your role will have a decisive influence on our ability to deliver and therefore on the long-term success of our company.

This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

Your responsibilities will be as follow:

  1. Plan what matters to the customer
    • Develop the customer intimacy together with sales to understand what is the most important to plan for the customer.
    • Apply the right focus on sales event management and customer assortment replenishment for your sales channel and your strategic customers.
    • Ensure and secure product availability for sales events and products important for the customer thanks to a good collaboration with the Supply Planning teams.
  2. Collaborate actively with all your Supply Chain stakeholders
    • Contribute to cross-customer allocation in collaboration with the Inventory Management
    • Give visibility to sales on product availability risks and opportunities
    • Check alternatives to sell in case of product unavailability
    • Collaborate actively with all stakeholders to share qualitative inputs from the customers: Demand Analysts, Customer Service, Customer Coordinators, Distribution.
  3. You aim for operational excellence
    • Follow the priorities defined together with your team leader, in line with the channel strategy and the group guidelines
    • Use your intrapreneurial spirit, customer orientation and operational efficiency to continuously improve your KPIs: sales event service level and sales planning accuracy

What you need to be successful with us

  • Successfully completed studies, ideally with a focus on supply chain management/logistics/operations management or successfully completed training with many years of relevant experience
  • Professional experience within the supply chain
  • You are comfortable working with SAP R3 and reporting tools like QlikSense. Initial knowledge of a Planning System is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and very good assertiveness
  • Process affinity, conceptual and analytical thinking and acting
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
