What We Will Achieve Together:

The Human Resources Generalist (HR Generalist) will serve as a vital member of the HR team. The ideal candidate will help align HR practices with company goals while promoting a positive work culture. The HR Generalist will support multiple aspects of the employee experience including but not limited to learning and development, talent management, and organizational development. This role will support employee populations across three locations, Irvine, Montebello, and Santa Fe Springs. The position will report to the Manufacturing HR Director and will be based at the Montbello location, travel to other sites will occur as needed.

Base Salary Range: $72,000 - $90,000 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Support learning and development through analysis of training needs, assistance with the design, preparation, maintenance of materials, and coordination of training sessions.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR department and services performed.
  • Build strong relationships and consultations with teams to ensure HR strategies are executed effectively to drive a high-performance work environment.
  • Facilitate people cycle events including the Annual Appraisal Interview process through effective communication campaigns, tracking, and follow through with managers and employees.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on various projects including employee onboarding, engagement, annual events and charitable activities.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to implement innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for communication of HR programs, events and developments.
  • Support and assist managers on certain issues as defined with the HR director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or role or role with equivalent experience. Preferably in a fast-paced organization with an international presence. Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources or related area of study.   
  • Certification: SHRM-CP, PHR, PHRca 
  • Key Skills and Qualifications:
