International Market Manager (m/f/d) China
What you can expect
- Interface Management: Central point of contact and key interface between the GSEB market organizations and the WMF Consumer Business Unit to steer and optimize business performance
- Country & Budget Responsibility: Primary contact for defined markets with responsibility for budget management and control
- Initiative Management: Initiation and coordination of market-relevant activities in close collaboration with local sales and marketing teams as well as the Consumer Business Unit
- Market Expansion & Brand Strategy: Support of cross-functional teams between the WMF Consumer Business Unit and GSEB market organizations to implement global brand guidelines and drive market growth
- Marketing Advisory: Support for local markets in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns
- Project Management: Coordination and oversight of international projects across all implementation phases
- Performance Analysis: Evaluation of market and regional performance based on relevant KPIs to identify growth and improvement opportunities
- Market Analysis & Action Planning: Execution of competitive, sales, and consumer analyses – including development of corrective measures e.g. GAP plans for the Premium business segment
- Organizational Development: Contribution to the strategic development of local teams and structures to ensure sufficient capacity
- Best Practice Sharing: Exchange with colleagues in other countries to share and scale successful approaches beyond one’s own area of responsibility
What you need to succeed with us
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Marketing, Sales, or International Business
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in international sales and/or marketing, along with solid experience in leading and managing projects
- Strong strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for market development and growth
- High level of intercultural competence and excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP is a plus
- Understanding and experience in P&L analysis is desirable
- Ability to collaborate across functions, with a high degree of empathy required
- Willingness to travel internationally and to work on-site in Geislingen an der Steige (typically three days per week) is required
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are an advantage
- Chinese language skills and a deep understanding of Chinese culture, especially for collaboration with Asian markets
