Contribute to our development
Join our Intellectual Property Center of Excellence teams during an internship of 6 months at our campus in Ecully near Lyon. You will learn alongside a Patent Engineer while being synchronized with our team based in China. In this role, you will work for the development of our Chinese brand SUPOR.
Your missions are as follows:
- Participate in exchanges with the R&D team to detect patent opportunities and risks and co-construct the technical solution throughout product development (coffee machines, kettles, electric cookers, etc.).
- Contribute to the identification of prior art documents to build a reasoned opinion on patentability and patent risk for an invention to be formalized.
- Learn about IP legislation and case law (France, China, Europe, etc.) within a team of experts.
- Participate in patent drafting to ensure optimal protection of innovations.
- Contribute to competitor patent watches to identify opportunities and risks.
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of the international patent data base.
Bring your skills
- You are preparing a BAC+4/5 degree in an engineering school specializing in mechanical or industrial engineering.
- You have a interest in the legal field related to the industry.
- Your Mandarin level is native/bilingual.
- Your English level is fluent.
- You have at least a basic knowledge of French.
- If you have basic knowledge of CAD software, it is a plus!
- You are dynamic and proactive.
