IT SPECIALIST
Background & Purpose of the Job
We are seeking a seasoned IT Specialist who will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of computer infrastructure systems operated within the USA.
This role is based in Parsippany, NJ
Who You Are & What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for managing or coordinating local IT projects for applications and infrastructure in coordination with external IT partners, IT Regional team, or IT Corporate team.
- Receive guidelines and instructions from the Business Controller, Logistics, Regional IT, and/or Corporate IT through the Regional IT team.
- Responsible for maintaining all connected and unconnected device inventory.
- Design, develop, test, and maintenance of computer operations.
- Assist end-users on day-to-day operations through Helpdesk support.
- Relate problem, suggestion, and resolution to Groupe SEB Regional IT, Functional Manager
- Project Management.
- Manage effective implementation, migration, and data communication of the application system.
- Continued research on new technologies and finding a better way to improve computer applications, operations, infrastructure, and management.
What You’ll Need To Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in network administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure or adjacent administration field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of Windows experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 / VMWARE Esxi / Vcenter/ VMWARE SRM / Cisco LAN / WLC / Routing equipment.
- CompTIA N+ / CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Hands-on experience or certification in AWS and/or Azure.
- Must know TCP/IP network protocol, Windows 10 / 11, Windows Server XXXX.
- Problem-Solving Skills.
- Regional Mobility (USA / Canada / Mexico).
- Knowledge of basic cyber security measures.
- Leadership skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Able to meet deadlines.
