PROFILE:

 

  • Aid establish and implement a strategic business plan that maximizes customer profitability and service levels and achieves growth and revenue objectives.
  • Deliver sales, margin, and expense budgets for own accounts; provide forecasts based on customer channel, category sales, and profit plans; continuously review actual results.
  • Utilize consumer insights to validate new product introductions, product extensions, and product promotional opportunities that meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Work with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure the success of customer sales strategies.
  • Support category performance reviews; analyze trends, issues; provide insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and prioritize national category shelf initiatives consistent with buyers’ sales, share, and profitability objectives.
  • Support modular development projects, (Major and Mini updates); drive/support core line review process, new item recommendation and distribution, training, spacing, on-shelf merchandising, and POG creation.
  • Challenge competitive supplier perspectives which are counter-sync with Buyer's objectives or known facts.
  • Creating and implementing Omni-channel sales strategies that drive customer engagement and business growth
  • Assist in continually optimizing the purchase and product interaction paths online and offline
  • Omni channel account planning i.e. promos, digital merchandising, etc.
  • Identify new areas of underpenetrated growth within our categories – offline and online
  • Working cross-functionally with supply chain and forecasting counterparts

 

MAIN SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bi-lingual Proficiency English/ Spanish
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of sales and/ or marketing experience, in the US is a plus.
  • Solid analytical and synthesis skills to support and drive the setting of strategic direction and overseeing execution of business goals and objectives with own accounts and same channel accounts in general.
  • Ability to interact with account senior management and support teams, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • High degree of personal motivation, energy, integrity, and candor.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively across multiple functions.
  • Exceptional math, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to generate innovative approaches and new, or improved, solutions to business issues.
  • Solid expertise with MS Office Suite, (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness/ability to travel 25-35% of the time.
