PROFILE:
The minimum requirements for
education and experience are listed below. Consideration will be given to
individuals with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Process or other Engineering fields with a Bachelors’ degree in Engineering preferred
- Knowledge of workflows, ergonomics, tooling, and lean manufacturing, either on-the-job or through academic projects
- Experience in metal forming, machining, grinding and/or polishing is a plus
- Experience with the DMAIC Methodology and Lean Six Sigma is a plus
- Experience in the areas of numerically controlled systems, robotics, and automation is a plus
- Basic to Advanced Computer Skills include: Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook, Access, Visio and PowerPoint)
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, ProE or Solid Edge a plus
- Experience with an ERP/MRP system
- The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50pounds
