PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Manage a team and organize all or part of the activity of a development team in order to guarantee the development of products in compliance with regulations, Groupe SEB quality standards and marketing requirements throughout the product's lifespan.

ACTIVITIES
1. Manage the activity of the team for which he/she is responsible to ensure the development of finished products based on the product plan (new products, series life, requests for modification or 2nd source approval, pre-development plans, manufacturing transfer projects) while respecting the EPO development process and the tools specific to his/her activity
· 2. Participate in the development of the product roadmap for his/her scope in line with the BU development strategy and with the Group strategy
· 3. Be responsible for the objectives set for his/her activity
· 4. Ensure the application of work standards among his/her teams
· 5. Define areas for improvement to ensure constant optimization of his/her team's performance
· 6. Create team dynamics by developing communication and developing teams: versatility, training, feedback, interviews,
· 7. Manage and optimize the budget and resources of his/her teams
· 8. Carry and relay messages from Management
· 9. Ensure technological monitoring in his/her scope of activity and Contribute to the filing and renewal of patents
· 10. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the competitive environment: analysis of competing products (construction, production costs, price positioning, production location, etc.), understanding of markets and consumer needs

· Internally: Marketing, Quality, Innovation, Service Management and support functions necessary for the activity, Development Director, etc.
· Externally: suppliers, Approved Service Center (ASP), certification laboratory, Market Authority, partners, service providers, customers
QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
· Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience with minimum 6 years of experience
· MCM Management Skills
· Specific and technical knowledge relating to his/her activity
· General and academic knowledge in mechanics, materials, physical measurements
· Ability to work in networks and in project teams, good interpersonal skills
· Foreign languages: English Read, written, spoken (professional conversation), "plus": Italian
· Ability to work in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary environment
· Experience in project management and quality (particularly in risk analysis).
· Rigorous, autonomous and organized.
· Ability to unite a team towards a common goal
· Ability to synthesize and make information understandable
