Product Manager-T-fal ティファール プロダクトマーケティング担当(通年採用)

Principal Responsibilities

• Lead all of marketing activities and programs for responsible category under the supervision of the Marketing Manager. Contribute to further build T-fal’s position in the market.

• Develop an Annual Market Activation Plan and Budget (= Annual Marketing Plan) that includes sales objectives (value and volume), consolidated and operating margin objectives, ATL/BTL activity, distribution strategy, competitive information, etc. in line with company vision and strategy.

• Implement the approved marketing programs (including new product launch, advertising campaign, various sales promotion activities, etc.) and maximize these effectiveness and potential.

• Work closely with the SBU (strategic Business Unit in France), and support them to understand the Japanese consumer and the market specific needs.

• Closely monitor the competitive activities and quickly take an action working with relative functions. Analyze and grasp the current business situation (sales performance, competitive actions, etc.), and take necessary actions with timely manner.

• Periodically provide reports on sales performance, margin development, expenses etc. and key activities in the Letter of Month (LOM) to managements and relative functions.

• Marketing Managerのもと、担当カテゴリーの全マーケティング活動とプログラムをリードし、ティファールのさらなるマーケットポジション確立に貢献する。

• 会社のビジョンおよび戦略に沿った、担当カテゴリーにおける以下の年間マーケティングプランならびに予算の作成と実行。セールス予算管理（トップライン&ボトムライン）、連結および営業利益、ATL/BTLプラン作成および実行、ディストリビューション戦略立案、競合分析等。

• マーケティングプログラム（新製品の発売、広告キャンペーンの実行、様々なセールスプロモーション活動の実行等）の実行、担当製品カテゴリーを成長に導く効果的な活動。

• 担当製品カテゴリーのSBU (フランス本社の戦略的ビジネスユニット)との協業、ならびに日本の消費者・日本独自のニーズについての理解を深め、SBUと共有する。

• 競合活動をモニターし、措置を講じる。また、売上状況、競合アクション、トレンド等の現状把握、および分析を行い、マーケティングマネージャーと関連部署（特に営業部、ショッパーマーケティングチーム）と協業し、迅速なアクションを立案、実行する。

• 売上および利益進捗、マーケティング予算進捗、マーケティング活動進捗、市場状況等について、マネージャーや関連部署への定期的なビジネスアップデート。

Qualification (experience, education, certification)

• University degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent training / experience.  MBA preferable, not mandatory.

• Over 5 years experiences in product / brand management, ideally in an international B2C company.

• 4年制大学卒業者。マーケティングや同等のトレーニングの経験、MBA取得者は尚可。

• 日本で5年以上のB2Cマーケティングおよびプロダクト/ブランドマネジメントの経験。外資FMCGカンパニー出身者は尚可。

• Data gathering and analysis skills with the objective to act, review and further develop the business and activities.

• Presentation skills in English and Japanese

• Ability to develop annual activity plan in English and Japanese

• Ability to develop status update report in English and Japanese

• Ability to negotiate with trade customers and suppliers in Japanese

• Positive and logical thinker

• Characteristics should be:

  1) Real marketer

  2) Native Japanese + business English level

  3) Ability to think creatively, out of the box, be inspired by also qualitative information like fashion and lifestyle trends

  4) Entrepreneurial spirit to take calculated risks

  6) Communicative skills / Persuasiveness to « sell » the marketing actions plans to commercial teams and   external representatives
