What We Will Achieve Together:

The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will focus on activities related to the development of new products and sustaining projects to support domestic and international markets. This will include the design and development of new products, upgrading and modification of existing products in close collaboration with operations, manufacturing, quality, and marketing while ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.

Base Salary Range:

 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Plan, conceptualize, design and test new products, including developing the mechanical structure, Thermal, hydraulic system, sensors, and actuators required to meet design and performance requirements.
  • Interpret and modify ladder diagrams; collaborate on updates and design changes to improve control systems reliability.
  • Apply knowledge of injection moldings and sheet metal design to optimize the manufacturing processes of components, balancing cost-effectiveness with quality and considering the capabilities of the company plant.
  • Prepare detailed design documentation, including schematics, CAD models, and specifications, ensuring clear communication with the broader development team.
  • Leads department projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, industrial designers, sales leadership, marketing, and product manager teams to ensure seamless integration of projects and capitalizing on market trends/insights.  
  • Represent SEB Professional at trade shows, industry engagements, client meetings and other matters.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a role with equivalent experience within a fast-growing global organization.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field, master’s degree preferred.
  • Key Skills: Flow dynamics, heat transfer. Working with electronic circuits, control theory and designing a control system. Project management, Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Core Competencies:  Strong leadership and communication, Strategic thinking and planning, Strong organizational skills, Working collaboratively in a global team environment.
