SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER
Background & Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to oversee the strategic direction and management of small domestic appliances across our Rowenta, T-fal, and Krups brands. This role requires a balance of innovative thinking, strategic planning, and strong leadership to manage diverse product lines and ensure they meet the dynamic needs of the market. A key objective for this role is to grow market share for all brands, leveraging product innovation, superior market strategies, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
This role is based in Parsippany and is hybrid.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
Business Planning and Management
- Develop and implement strategic product plans for Rowenta, T-fal, and Krups, ensuring cohesive product strategies that align with brand identities and market opportunities.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify consumer trends and market demand, influencing product innovation and enhancements.
- Drive initiatives aimed at increasing market share for each brand, analyzing market segments and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
Product Development and Management
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and R&D teams to ensure that product offerings are effectively positioned and marketed to achieve maximum market penetration and profitability.
- Serve as liaison with sales and strategic business units (France) to develop new products optimized for the US market.
- Manage product portfolio; optimize assortments and develop promotional plans.
Go to Market
- Partner with Sales Organization to support product sell-in with promotional programs, dedicated retailer marketing support, and attend customer presentations.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development, execution, and launch of new products, managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation efficiently.
- Work with the communications team to create activation plans that support key initiatives, ensuring that marketing efforts are aligned with product strategies and company goals.
- Monitor and report on product performance metrics across all brands, using data-driven insights to inform strategic adjustments and innovations.
What You’ll Need To Succeed:
- Bachelors Degree a must; MBA preferred but optional
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in product management, specifically in the consumer goods sector, with a focus on small domestic appliances.
- Demonstrated success in leading multiple product lines, with a strong understanding of product development processes and market strategy implementation.
- Excellent analytical abilities with a proven ability to drive product success through data insights and market intelligence.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and inspire teams.
- Agile and adaptable to changing market conditions, with a strong problem-solving orientation and a proactive approach.
